Jamaal Harris, a charismatic and talented student-athlete, is on top of the world as he enters his senior year of high school. With college scouts eyeing his every move on the basketball court, Jamaal’s future seems secure until a new rule change threatens everything. To remain eligible to play, he must raise his GPA by taking an elective outside his comfort zone.

Reluctantly, Jamaal enrolls in Orchestra, hoping it will be an easy way to fulfill the requirement. What begins as a chore quickly becomes a revelation when he discovers a hidden talent for the cello.
